Dual Rate Front Desk/Call Center agent

Summary:

The Front Desk Representative is responsible for the registration of guests staying in the hotel, as well as communicating hotel services and any promotions. This position must be focused on providing the highest level of guest service, as it has a direct impact on the guest experience while staying at the resort. The call center agent will be responsible for answering and directing all incoming calls that come into our call center.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Have a pleasant phone voice.
  • Transfer guests call to the appropriate area they requested.
  • Handle all guest problems and complaints in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Be able to learn the Opera system.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledgeable in all casino areas, marketing programs, safety & security.
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Prioritize, organize and follow-up.
  • Understand guests’ service needs.
  • Assist reservation center in taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations, noting any special requests.
  • Answer questions regarding local area facilities and points of interest.
  • Read and update the Front Desk Communication Log daily.
  • Know and follow the hotel emergency procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned/needed.
  • Efficiently check guests in and out of the hotel and administer hotel policies and procedures.
  • Assist the reservation center in taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations, noting any special requests.
  • Operate the hotel phone system using friendly and professional service.
  • Handle all shift cash transactions accurately.
  • Communicate hotel facilities and services to all guests, as well as local area facilities and points of interest.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fill special guest requests or to resolve problems.
  • Read and update the Front Desk Communication Log daily.
  • Understand and follow all hotel emergency procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
  • Resolve problems quickly and accurately, and follow directions thoroughly.
  • Perform functions under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
  • Work cohesively with a team to accomplish assigned duties

Required:

  • Compute basic arithmetic.
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Ability to work under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.

$10.50/$10.75+exp+$1.25 attendance bonus
