Laundry Attendant - Lead




The Laundry Lead is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, and the proper process of linens. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized facility. This position will supervise the laundry facility to ensure the highest efficiency and quality with all products as well as the laundry attendants and custodians who facilitate this process.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Ability to operate all washing and drying machines.
  • Ability to sort, load, and unload washing/drying machines.
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Ability to store, requisition, and utilize the proper chemicals for the washers.
  • Ability to operate automated ironer/folder.
  • Handle clean and dirty linens.
  • Ability to weigh all loads for proper loading of washers and dryers.
  • At the end of the day, empty the trash in the dumpster.
  • Restock the transport carts as needed.
  • Answer questions regarding local area facilities and points of interest.
  • Ability to properly dry different materials such as towels, fine linen, sheets, and pillow cases.
  • Notifying supervisor and/or maintenance of any reported problems with equipment.
  • Know and follow the hotel emergency procedures.


  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team and coach them on their everyday job duties.
  • Ability to work under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have at least 6 months of laundry attendant experience.
  • 6+ months of supervisory experience preferred.


8:30a-4:30p; Days Vary


$14.50/hr ($13+$1.50 attendance bonus) +exp
