Summary:

Repairs, maintains, and monitors the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices in the casino floor and shop area. Fills payout reserve containers. Participates in move of any slot related equipment.  Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state or internal regulations. Other duties assigned.

Essential Functions:

  • Repair and maintain slot related equipment on the casino floor and in the slot workshop. Participate in the installation, movement, and removal of slot related equipment.
  • Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state and/or internal regulations.
  • Effectively manage customer relations and properly resolve guest disputes in a courteous manner.
  • Accurately verify, and calculate jackpots. Accurately fill out paperwork pertaining to verification of jackpot transactions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair to slot machines.
  • Assures an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments.
  • Support compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including those associated with underage and intoxicated guests.
  • Supports current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior.
  • Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment.
  • Job duties, tasks, work hours, work requirements, and other duties as assigned may be added or changed at any time.

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One to three years technical experience preferred.
  • Must hold a valid gaming license in accordance with the Iowa Racing & Gaming Commissions regulations for this position.
  • Must pass Title 31 and property alcohol training.

Schedule:

Full time position: 4:15p-12:15a Thurs-Mon

Salary:

$13.75/hr ($12.50+exp+tips+$1.25 attendance bonus)
