Dual Rate Supervisor/Casino Housekeeping

Summary:

The EVS Supervisor assists the EVS Manager with the responsible for the successful operation of the EVS departments. Ensure the cleanliness of the casino and public areas.Effectively manage a productive and efficient staff focused on superior guest service and providing an exceptional guest experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists with implementing EVS programs, policies and identify/implement new techniques in improving standards.
  • Assists with plans and assigns daily work assignments, checking on employee performance and work schedules, completing daily reports and spot checking the entire facility.
  • Personally check public areas and inform management and maintenance of any improvements needed.
  • Provide exceptional guest service for all external and internal customers.
  • Assist with the operation of the EVS department, successful performance of employees, and a favorable guest experience.
  • Assist with managing, delegating duties, and the performance and development of department staff; inclusive of interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and termination of staff.

Required:

  • Must be responsible for understanding and training the proper use of chemicals and OSHA regulations.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to eight (8) consecutive hours.
  • Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality including, but not limited to, employee data, player activity, claim activity, financial data, marketing plans, and policies.
  • Ability to effectively utilize conflict-resolution techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.

Schedule:

Full-Time: 3rd Shift, 11p-7a, Sun + Mon Off
