Web/Application Developer - Riverside

Summary:

This role will be based out of Riverside Casino & Golf ResortActing as the primary resource for web development and application/programming. This role’s duties will require a strong command of enterprise systems, an excellent coding skillset and the ability to think outside the box. This role will provide services necessary for high quality technology experience for all internal and external employees, staff, vendors, and guests. Adhering to the highest ethical standards of professional conduct, maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality, and the organizations code of business ethics. This role will be responsible for supporting and reviewing current web/SQL and application development as outlined by business needs and senior leadership as well as proposing, planning, and completing upgraded or new solutions to replace legacy solutions as needed. This position differentiates itself from other positions with the unique skillset required and the ability to work with internal and external (3rd Party) resources to communicate current solution and future proposals to technology leadership.

Essential Functions:

• •Monitor internal and external website, network and systems to ensure availability to all users, vendors, guests, and interfaces.
• •Perform necessary testing, staging, implementation, and maintenance to support availability.
• •Propose, plan, coordinate, and implement security measures.
• •Demonstrate the aptitude to document and implement processes to increase efficiency, productivity, reliability and scalability.
• •Display solid knowledge of OSI model and TCP/IP networking, server farms, storage architectures, load balancing, backup and recovery standard operating procedures.
• •Demonstrate their ability to develop, deliver, and troubleshoot all custom technology solutions as directed by senior leadership.
• •Reads and understands XML schemas.
• •Regularly review and audit current solutions to ensure security and functionality are standardized without limiting or depreciating access for all users.
• •Work directly with technology team, marketing, BI, and senior leadership to support business web and application development needs enterprise wide. Some off hours or extended support as required to meet deadlines or support business needs.
• •Collaborate with internal and external technological resources to support current platforms and develop updated protocols and programming models to provide an Elite experience for all users.
• •Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.

• •In-Depth Knowledge of internet protocols and applications in addition to a solid understanding of business strategy
• •Strong communication skills and ability to work both in a team environment and individually
• •Bachelor’s degree in Web Development/DBA or related discipline and 5+ years of related experience with both front-end and back-end technologies in a B2B or B2C web production environment- Experience working with HTML and CSS
• •10+ years of related work experience as Web Developer or related discipline with both front-end and back-end technologies in a B2B or B2C web production environment- Experience working with HTML and CSS
• •Versed in web technologies, software, and related tools such as AJAX, ColdFusion, SQL, Access, JavaScript, SOAP, HTML/DHTML, LAMP, SharePoint infrastructure, CSS, and others.
• •Demonstrated ability to propose, develop, implement, and support website, database applications, and solutions to fit enterprise wide vision.
• •Strong familiarity with Web API and HTML5
• •Hands on experience programming in HTML, CGI, Perl, JavaScript, CSS, ASP, and PHP.
• •Rooted understanding of how a mobile user experience differs from the experience on a web or other application
• •Website administration skills required.
