Supervisors are integral members of the organization’s community as they work to support the Elite Casino Resorts’ mission and vision.  They provide services necessary for a high quality technology experience to board members, employees, vendors, and guests. Supervisors are expected to adhere to ethical standards of professional conduct and act in a manner consistent with the organization’s code of business ethics including but not limited to maintaining confidentiality, excellence, integrity, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness. Supervisors are accountable for using best business practices to administer and support our organization's technologies typical to the entertainment and hospitality industry with outstanding customer service skills. The Technology Supervisor position differentiates itself from the other Technology positions by demonstrated abilities including leading and supervising teammates, years of experience, education, and certifications.    

Essential Functions

  • Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
  • Responsible for supervising a team in assuring the effective execution of Technology services and support at all locations.
  • Act as the liaison to the Elite Casino Resorts employees and customers at the Rhythm City Property.
  • Interacts with mid-to-senior level management to promote open communications.
  • Recommend improved business practices to the Technology Manager.
  • Be a working member of the management team administering and maintaining our network and systems to ensure availability to all users, vendors, guests, and interfaces.
  • Have a solid knowledge of OSI model and TCP/IP networking, server farms, storage architectures, load balancing, backup and recovery standard operating procedures.
  • Appropriately handle incoming customer support requests via phone, e-mail, voicemail, helpdesk tracking system and in-person requests.
  • Obtain the appropriate approvals in our highly regulated environment as needed.
  • Accomplish technology team results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results with immediate feedback.
  • Responsible for team coaching/counseling and evaluating job performance, to include appropriate recognition and discipline under the direction of the Technology Manager.
  • Have a very good understanding and is able to communicate as well as enforce processes, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Elite Casino Resorts’ effectiveness and efficiency by supporting strategic plans for implementing technologies.
  • Work closely with other teammates to turn requests for service and support into helpdesk tickets to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Understands and studies organization goals, strategies, and practices.
  • Support the completion of projects by supervising resources as needed, changes in staff scheduling, and project timetables to promote successful project delivery.
  • Be a liaison for management and third party vendors as needed to assure objectives are met under the direction of the Technology Manager.
  • Conduct system audits of technologies implemented, as well as leading scheduled routine preventative maintenance for equipment and solutions.
  • Preserve assets by ensuring disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security control structures and inventory are maintained.
  • Make observations concerning technology strategies, policies, and user defined procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Maintain quality service in all technologies by supervising and enforcing established organization standards.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


  • Two-year degree in business, technology or related discipline from an accredited college or university, or two-year degree with sufficient courses in business or technology required.
  • Plus, four or more years of business operations experience, with a minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Gaming experience a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, time management, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Excellent knowledge of technology standards, regulatory requirements, company policies, computer systems, PC applications.
  • Periodic travel.
