Summary:

The Hotel Floor Checker is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, and the proper process of maintaining rooms,maintaining a clean and organized facility, training employees, hiring and directing employees, tracking employee progress, knowing and maintaining safety requirements, and reporting and following up on maintenance issues.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional guest Service and resolve any guest complaints appropriately.
  • Check rooms when Housekeeper is finished to ensure cleanliness.
  • Restock carts, linen closets, and other items necessary to perform Housekeeping position.
  • Report all incidents to Housekeeping Manager.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Resolve problems quickly and accurately, and follow directions thoroughly.
  • Perform functions under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
  • Answer questions for guests regarding local area facilities and points of interest.
  • Work cohesively with a team to accomplish assigned duties

Required:

  • Housekeeper/housekeeping experience required

Schedule:

FT: 8:30a-4:30p, includes weekends

Salary:

$12.50/hr ($11.25+exp+$1.25 attendance incentive)
