Dual Rate Casino Housekeeping Supervisor

Summary:

The EVS member is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests and staff.  This position cleans the casino floor and all associated support areas in the back of the house.  EVS is responsible for project cleaning and all customer identified needs within expertise.  The ultimate responsibility is to ensure that the customer is impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and adds to the exceptional experience for each patron.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists with implementing EVS programs, policies and identify/implement new techniques in improving standards.
  • Assists with plans and assigns daily work assignments, checking on employee performance and work schedules, completing daily reports and spot checking the entire facility.
  • Personally check public areas and inform management and maintenance of any improvements needed.
  • Provide exceptional guest service for all external and internal customers.
  • Assist with the operation of the EVS department, successful performance of employees, and a favorable guest experience.
  • Assist with managing, delegating duties, and the performance and development of department staff; inclusive of interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and termination of staff.
  • Perform all functions of personnel within span of control, as needed.
  • Assure an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments.
  • Support compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including those associated with underage and intoxicated guests.
  • Support current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior.
  • Promote and ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
  • Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Job duties, tasks, work hours, work requirements, and other duties as assigned may be added or changed at any time.

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year experience with housekeeping
  • One year minimum experience as a supervisor

Schedule:

FT: Wed-Sun 3p-11p OR Fri-Tue 11p-7a                        

Salary:

$13.70/$10.50+exp+$1.25 attendance bonus
