Summary:

Responsible for providing our VIP guests with first class service and amenities. Hosts will be required to develop and track recurring patrons and build client base by personal interaction and utilizing player reports.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
  • Manage player accounts and comps based on recorded play, earned points, comp availability and patron profitability.
  • Build and maintain player loyalty by maintaining contact with an assigned base of customers.
  • Cultivate leads via networking the targeted marketing area.
  • Maintain a list of guest’s preferences of gaming, golf, music preferences along with other interests.
  • Develop and maintain a list of top 150-200 guests in each area of play within the casino, tables, slots and poker.
  • Contact top players from “Lost Player” reports to entice return visits.
  • Utilize KCMS to maintain player accounts.
  • Be familiar with how to read customer accounts, player points, comps and incentive programs.
  • Understand theoretical and actual win on their accounts.
  • Act as a guest liaison, handle guest issues and resolve situations while providing excellent guest service.
  • Assist in implementation of special events, player parties and accompanying guests to functions and events.
  • Work the casino floor by looking for players who do not have player cards.
  • Make an introduction and explain the benefits of our player program.
  • Sign them up for a card whenever possible.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion including but not limited to customer files and habits, company procedures, data or marketing information.
  • Keep updated on all special events and promotions.
  • Represent the company with a professional demeanor on and off property.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Required:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain IRGC licensing.
  • Attend all mandatory company training.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines.
  • Must become TIPS certified.
  • Minimum 2 years casino host experience, or equivalent public relations experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and knowledge of any Casino Management System a plus.
  • Experience or training in customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and have exceptional organizational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be approachable and friendly.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards customers, co-workers and other department staff.
