Executive Administrative Assistant

Summary:

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship to the Executive team.

Essential Functions:

  • The Executive Assistant will organize and coordinate executive internal and external relations efforts.
  • The EA must be creative and contribute in an entrepreneurial environment that is result driven, employee focused, service driven, and community oriented.
  • The ideal EA will have the ability to exercise good judgment, strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion.
  • Ability to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
  • The EA will perform multifaceted general office support for the General Manager and Executive Team.
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns; and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure executive’s schedules are followed and respected.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and proactively, and follow through on project successful completion.
  • Will provide a bridge for smooth communication between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational issues; demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management team.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, employees, community leaders, and business partners.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong work tenure: five to ten years of experience supporting Executives.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders, staff, senior management, board members, and external partners.
  • Expert-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision making capabilities.
  • Highly resourceful team player, with ability to be extremely effective independently.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Exhibits high levels of customer service and response.
  • Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, & Power Point), Adobe Acrobat and Social Media web platforms.
